Blues for Charlie's Dad -- Charlie Byrd

Introduction

This is an arrangement of a song by Charlie Byrd that I found on a YouTube video from the 1990s. It was not possible for me to identify the song name, or the composer so I have named this arrangement "Blues for Charlie's Dad" because -- during the television interview -- Charlie intimated that he learned this song from his father. If anybody does know the name and composer, please send me a note.

The arrangement is for intermediate players. It's only 16 bars but there are a couple of spots that require some hand strength to hold or change positions. The good news is that the chords don't use any tension notes so the chord shapes are straightforward. What I like about this song is that there is space for some improvisation or variations, helpful for stretching the performance time.
